  1. Sign in to MyBlue or create an account
  2. Click on "My Plans & Claims"
  3. Click "Plan Benefits".
  4. Choose your plan.
  5. Select "View Plan Benefits" (or "Plan Benefits" from our mobile app)
  6. Select a mental health service to view your coverage.

First, if you’re not sure where to start, or how to find the right therapist for you, read our guide.

Next, keep in mind that you can see a licensed therapist online without leaving the comfort and convenience of home. Better yet, we’ve waived co-pays, co-insurance, and deductibles for all mental health covered services by video or phone with in-network providers, during the duration of the Massachusetts public health emergency*.

Use our Find a Doctor tool to find licensed therapists, counselors, psychiatrists, special facilities, and other resources. Sign in to MyBlue before starting your search, to be sure your results are in our network, and to avoid cost surprises.

Find a specialist

Your coverage may also includes a Well Connection telehealth benefit. Through the Well Connection platform, you'll have access to a licensed therapist or psychiatrist. It’s convenient and confidential. Many plans include Well Connection but some, like our Medicare plans, do not. Check your plan benefits for details.

*Benefits may vary by plan.

For Medicare HMO Blue and Medicare PPO Blue members: Effective January 1, 2021, Telehealth visits will include a member cost share as described in the Evidence of Coverage.

What it is Your plan may include access to this judgment-free way to assess and explore your feelings, thoughts, emotions, and mind. Designed by the mental health specialists from Learn to Live, an independent partner company, this tool can be used as often as you like. All members may now access private online programs and counselors to help manage stress, anxiety, depression, and other conditions, through our partnership with New Directions.

  • Who will you talk to? You’ll start with a dedicated service representative, who will listen to your needs and try to solve your problem. We may then refer you to a Care Manager for specialized support, if needed.
