The Pharmacy Quality Alliance (PQA) recognized our Medicare Prescription Drug Plan with a quality award for high achievement on PQA measures of medication safety and appropriate use. The awards are based on published CMS Medicare Part D Star Ratings. PQA is the nation’s leading developer of consensus-based measures for medication safety, adherence and appropriate use.

We received the prestigious Brand Innovation Award from the Blue Cross Blue Shield Association for our ongoing work to combat the opioid epidemic.
We were recognized for creating a series of groundbreaking programs that expand access to care, engage employers in the prevention of overdoses, and provide education and other resources that support people with opioid use disorder through treatment and recovery while reducing the stigma associated with opioid use.

For the second year in a row, we have been named the top health plan for member satisfaction by J.D. Power. In 2018, we achieved the highest score in all six study factors - coverage and benefits, cost, provider choice, customer service, information and communication, and claims processing - one of only 5 health plans, out of 163 studied nationwide, to do so.

Service Quality Measurement Group recognized our efforts to provide an unparalleled consumer experience. For the third year in a row, our Retail Sales & Retention Team was awarded Contact Center World Class Customer Experience Certification; our Member Service team received Customer Experience Best Practice awards for customer service representative selection and standard operating procedure; and our pharmacy benefits manager, Express Scripts, received Contact Center World Class Customer Experience Certification.
We were one of only two health plans in the country to earn top marks for our Medicare Advantage plan and our Medicare Part D plan from US News & World Report.

Confirming our commitment to protecting our members’ healthcare information, our membership system and data warehouse have earned Certified status for information security by HITRUST. HITRUST Risk-based, 2-year (r2) Certified status demonstrates these systems have met key regulations and industry-defined requirements and that we are appropriately managing risk.
We're proud to announce that our main systems processing, hosting, and exchanging of members' personal health information have again earned Certified status for information security by the Health Information Trust (HITRUST) Alliance. This two-year certification validates our commitment to protecting our members' sensitive private health care information.
Our company completed a cyber maturity assessment based on the National Institute of Standards and Technology’s Cybersecurity Framework, which consists of standards, guidelines, and practices to promote the protection of critical infrastructure. The assessment found our cybersecurity program either met or exceeded the NIST framework requirements.
